ROH was officially inaugurated in the year 2011 by Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, who himself is an avid music enthusiast. ROH holds an array of symphony concerts, chamber music, plays, recitals, operas, dance musicals and ballets throughout the year.
For those who love cinema, a number of multiplex venues, such as Vox Cinemas, Al-Shatti Multiplex, Ruwi and Star, City Cinemas have screenings of the newest International and Arabic releases.
