From June to October do not miss a boat trip around the lake and, with a little luck, you’ll get to climb aboard the "Stadt Zürich". It is the oldest of the two steam paddle shipsstill sailing onLake Zürich. As such, it is listed in theSwiss inventory of cultural property of national and regional significance.

Walk down the Bahnhofstrasse, an avenue lined with luxury shops that connects the lake to the main station. Stop at Zürich Hauptbahnhof – Zürich’s main train station and look up for the Guardian Angel - a voluptuous sculpture by French-Swiss artist Niki de Saint Phalle. Strolling down the banks of the Limmat, admire the architectural heritage of the city with fountains, bridges and churches vying for supremacy in beauty and charm. Do not miss the Fraumünster church, with its magnificent stained glass windows by Marc Chagall or the Grossmünster cathedral –the starting point of the Protestant Reformation in German Switzerland. Further, push the bronze doors by Otto Münch to access the Museum of the Reformation, one of the 50 museums in the city. The art museum Kunsthaus Zürich allows you to wander among art works by Ferdinand Hodler, Segantini, Vallotton, Amiet, Giacometti and Augusto.
