A love of design, from squares to buildings

At the Place Yves-Klein, an alleyway designed to look like a Provençal landscape awaits, topped by a giant concrete cube. This building-sized sculpture houses the Louis-Nucéra library. At the Place Masséna, the Fontaine du Soleil fountain contains an allegory in the form of a statue of Apollo. You'll also be able to contemplate a group of seven scribes made from resin, which glow in the dark when night falls. Entitled Conversation in Nice, this pieces by Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa was inaugurated in 2007. Nice's love of light shines through in the stylish atmosphere of its designer hotels. In the ibis Styles Vieux Port, enter a chromatic world in which lights of different hues shift and change, like sunbeams reflecting off water. And in the ibis Styles Centre Gare, immerse yourself in spaces designed as tributes to the 1970s.
